An Open Invitation

This is an open invitation for all of you rabble rousers that I know. While speaking with one of my friends I’m having one of these nights of clear insight and I‘m being generous enough to share….Ah the beauty of philosophy… I love it. Now before reading this I want you to shut your eyes… now I want you to get a feeling of me, my very essence, my very soul, and spirit. I want you to feel me when your reading these words. You know that if you live in the past that your destiny will pass you by. Do you also know if your overly focused looking ahead into the future the moments that you live for now will mean nothing to you. So what is the obvious answer? Living in the present? No because if we focus to heavily on the present we then lack the ability to look back to learn or the ability to look forward to plan. Well then what are we to do if we can‘t truly live in any time? This is were most people fall off, but then again they don’t realize that they are a slave to the clock. That time is only a tool. I mean can we truly live if we are constantly worrying about the day that we are going to die? No we cannot. The trick is that we have to live above time. This is the point that I lost her. She asked “well how do you live above time?” Now that is a tricky question. One of the problems is that society has used the clock to attempt to organize our very social structure. We have crammed that all we physically take into a twenty four hour day so we can make our menial paychecks so we can by our next piece of furniture that we don’t need. One of the other problems is when we take our first breath in this world we are told that we are going to die. That we are bound to this mystical force which we have no control of. In this country we are raised to believe that to be a functioning member to this world we have to get a job at 18 or go to school. Even if we go to school the income of your household limits you from reaching your true potential. Explaining this I would have to go into the “Gods and Clods” concept and that kids is for another night. After school we are expected to work till 65 when we can collect our pensions and social security checks. This ladies and gentlemen is our destiny in this culture. To be a resource until we are used up and to feeble to work deemed by the government, but fear not…they are already in the process of extending the age requirement for citizens to collect because I guess we are living too long for them to stay ahead of the game. Going back to living above the clock, above the very raw and real essence of time is that you first have to accept the fact that you are already dead. Not knowing the day nor the hour unless it be through a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. It’s a shitty deal, but then again that’s what reality is. You have to accept the fact that you are going to be considered a wolf in a flock of sheep. What I’m trying to get at is that you are going to be viewed as a threat even though that may not be the case. The reality of it is that those sheep in the field are all being used until their uses runs dry and then all they do is wait in line at the slaughter house. You have to accept the fact that you are resource to this country and when they are done with you…only then you can go out and see the world and immerse yourself in it when your immune system is dying. Why do we have to be almost dead to live? Because if we lived life for ourselves nothing would get done? Maybe that there would be only chaos? Who knows? Then again this only an open invitation. An invitation to get answers, ask questions, and share your beliefs. I mean hey I can be full of shit…lease feel free to let me know.
